MEETING IN POLAND

MEETING IN INOWROCLAW, POLAND 20th May 2011- 27th May 2011

During the mobility in Poland all the participants stayed in a campsite near Biskupin for a couple of days. This experience was very enriching; on the one hand it gave us the chance of getting to know each other and our cultures better and on the other hand we could learn about the flora and fauna of Poland in a natural environment. Three Spanish teachers and two Spanish students travelled to Poland. In Inowroclaw, our students were hosted by polish families having thus the opportunity to get to know some facts about Polish way of life and culture. We want to thank these families for their hospitality.

The Polish team included some interesting visits in their programme, such as: Biskupin and Wenecja, Torun – where we went to Copernicus’ house and to the planetarium and Inoroclaw, interesting city in the centre of Poland. Besides, we all visited the wastewater treatment plant of Inoroclaw, where we learnt about the process carried out which wastewater.

As for working meetings, all participants presented their results on the “comparative study of forests” as well as the common leaflet “Save the forest”.

The third meeting of our Project was, like the two previous one, a productive experience, both in terms of work and human relationships.

The two Spanish students made a powerpoint presentation summarizing their experience as well as a panel with pictures which is exhibited in our school.
